An important growth area in today’s all-round logistics is to be seen in those value-added services that incorporate such areas as purchasing, production supplies, consultancy and IT under a single umbrella. It is important here to have the support of an effective partner and to be closely linked in with your partner’s portfolio of services. As a result of its active policy of organisational development, Simon Hegele is now able to rely on a range of joint ventures as powerful partners for the provision of supplementary services.
Together with Mitsafetrans (Italy) and Marchal Technologies (France), Simon Hegele is a founding member and shareholder of TENESO Europe (a Karlsruhe-based European Incorporated Company).
TENESO stands for TEchnical NEtwork SOlution. The aim of this partnership of eleven shareholders in 25 countries is to offer more effective European supply chain solutions to meet the needs of globally active transport companies. Our highly qualified specialists have a wealth of experience and knowledge in dealing with high-tech shipments to end-customers in the fields of medical technology, digital printing and computer technology and electronic equipment (like automatic teller machines). All these require exceptional care and precision and maximum safety standards during transport.
A joint venture between Logistik Zentrum Allgäu GmbH [Hegele’s Allgäu Logistics Centre] and the space and aviation giant EADS Deutschland GmbH, Matrium GmbH offers logistics services for complex C-part projects, backed up by many years of experience in the fields of purchasing, logistics and the handling of customs.
Matrium GmbH thus also extends the logistics services offered by the Hegele Group to include strategic purchasing operations.
Logistik Zentrum Allgäu [Hegele’s Allgäu Logistics Centre] is an ultra-modern service provider offering the ideal all-round range of logistics services, created as a joint venture between Simon Hegele GmbH, Karlsruhe and Max Müller Spedition GmbH [Max Müller Freight Forwarding Co. Ltd.], Opfenbach. LZA’s principal activity is the production-synchronised supply of materials to two Robert Bosch plants in the locality. These principally manufacture ABS systems for automobiles, as well as other products. In this connection LZA offers extensive warehousing facilities, including block warehousing, high-bay storage, box shelves, safety storage and even temperature-controlled storage in the case of foodstuffs.
