General Terms and Conditions of Business:
We work exclusively on the basis of the Allgemeine Deutsche Spediteursbedingungen (ADSp) [General Terms and Conditions of Business for German Freight Forwarders] and – to the extent that these fail to cover the provision of logistics services – on the basis of the General Terms and Conditions of the Deutscher Spediteur- und Logistikverband e.V. [German Freight Forwarders and Logistics Association, Reg. Soc.], in each case in the most recent version. Article 23 of the ADSp limits the legal liability for damage to goods in accordance with § 431 HGB [Handelsgesetzbuch: German Commercial Code], for damage in custody of the carrier to EUR 5.00 per kilo; in case of multimodal transport (including sea shipment) to 2 SDR per kilo with an additional restriction, per case or incident of damage, to EUR 1 million / 2 million or 2 SZR per kilo, depending on which amount comes to more. Our General Terms and Conditions shall further apply to packaging issues. ABB-EDV terms and conditions shall apply in the case of high-tech transports, our General Terms and Conditions in the case of removals and ALB in the case of furniture storage.
Business deals the matter of which consists exclusively of crane and assembly work or heavy goods transport shall be subject to the Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen für Schwertransporte und Kranarbeiten (BSK) [General Terms and Conditions of Business for Heavy Goods Transport and Crane Work].
Freight forwarding insurance is covered by our agreement with Oskar Schunck KG, Stuttgart.
